Luxury & Precision E7 (AD1955) – Portable player + case

The Luxury & Precision modular player with the AD1955 card: two Analog Devices AD1955 DAC chips, the classic desktop DAC, for the first time in a portable device. It comes with its protective case.

How it sounds

Clear, refined, and natural, never harsh: crisp highs, delicate mids, and balanced lows, with plenty of air and instrument separation. It excels particularly with acoustic and orchestral music, and is equally excellent with any other genre.

Technology

The 3.5mm output uses both complete DACs (I/V conversion, filter, volume, and buffer), so it delivers the same power and dynamics as the 4.4mm balanced output. A discrete bias compensation circuit keeps the sound stable at any gain and volume level.

The line out is optimized for the EA4 tube amplifier. It runs on LeOS, L&P's proprietary system: it prioritizes audio, reduces interference, and consumes less battery than Android. It has interchangeable audio cards, such as the PCM1792A.
