Luxury & Precision EA4 – Portable tube amplifier

A tube preamplifier with two high-voltage powered Korg Nutubes and a fully discrete power stage. More than 6.5 W per channel at 32 Ω: it drives everything from IEMs to the most demanding desktop headphones.

Sound signature

Warm, rich, and detailed, with the characteristic timbre of tubes. The ILA and ILH modes, combined with high or low tube gain, provide four sound styles. Additionally, the quiescent current is adjustable in 11 levels, from class AB to class A, to fine-tune warmth and texture for each pair of headphones.

Technology

CNC shielding, 8 silicone dampers, and filament control to reduce microphonic effects. Selectable power supply of ±13 V or ±15 V.

Six matched Panasonic 18650 cells (nearly 20,000 mAh), 16 Nichicon capacitors, and 12 Panasonic coupling capacitors.

Uses the same potentiometer as the LP6 7th Anniversary. A double-click switches between pure tube preamp and tube preamp + discrete amplifier. It features a tempered glass window to see the glowing tubes.
